Privacy Policy

Effective date: [October 9, 2026] · Last updated: [October 9, 2026]

Little Champions Daycare (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, why we collect it, how we protect it and what choices you have. It applies to https://championdaycare.com.

Information about enrolled children and families (enrollment forms, emergency contacts, health and authorization forms) is collected in person and is covered by our enrollment agreement, not by this website policy.

  • Calls, texts, WhatsApp and email: the information you share when you contact us.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
  • Comments: if comments are enabled, the name, email address and website you enter, your comment, and your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, we and our service providers receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, language, the pages you view, the page that referred you and the date and time of your visit. We collect it using cookies and similar tools (see “Cookies”).

What we do not ask for on this website

Please do not send allergies, medications, medical conditions, birth dates, Social Security numbers, payment card numbers or other sensitive details through our website forms, email or messaging apps. We collect that information in person, on paper, after you decide to enroll.

How we use your information

  • To answer your questions, schedule tours and tell you whether we serve your child’s school
  • To send the information, quotes or updates you asked for
  • To send newsletters or reminders, only if you opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To keep the website secure, prevent spam and fix technical problems
  • To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising to third parties. We do not make automated decisions about you.

Photos and media

We do not publish photos or videos of children without the written consent of their parents or guardians, and we avoid showing children’s faces or names. If you upload images to the website, avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS): visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files saved on your device when you visit a website. We use them to make the site work, keep it secure and understand how it is used. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work properly.

Set by the provider

Add advertising cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) only if they are installed, and then they also load only after consent.

If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. If an administrator edits or publishes a page or post, an additional cookie with no personal data records the post ID and expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content, such as a Google Map, videos, images or social media posts. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you had visited the other website. Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with the content, including if you have an account and are logged in to that website. We load embedded content only where it is needed, and their own privacy policies apply.

Service providers and third parties

We use trusted companies to run our website and handle your requests. They may process your information only to provide their services to us.

  • Website hosting: Hostinger
  • Security and content delivery: Cloudflare
  • Analytics: Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Spam protection: Akismet, Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA. Visitor comments and form submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
  • Maps: Google Maps
  • Messaging and customer management (CRM): Kommo, GoHighLevel or similar, and WhatsApp (Meta) if you contact us there
  • Email and newsletter: [email protected]
  • Gravatar (comments): an anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to Gravatar to check whether you use it. Its policy is at https://championdaycare.com/privacy-policy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible in the context of your comment.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With the service providers listed above, to operate the website and answer your requests
  • If you request a password reset on an account, your IP address is included in the reset email
  • When required by law, a court order or a government request, or to protect the rights, safety and security of children, families, our staff and our website
  • In a sale or transfer of the business, where the new owner would follow this policy
  • With your consent, for any other purpose we explain at the time

Where your information is sent

We operate in the United States and our providers process data mainly in the United States. Some providers, such as Cloudflare and Google, may process data in other countries under their own safeguards. Visitor comments and form submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Our site does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. If you enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, we treat it as a request to reject non-essential cookies.

How long we keep your information

  • Contact and tour requests: we keep them for 24 months, after your last contact, unless you enroll. If you enroll, your information is kept under our enrollment records and Florida childcare record-keeping rules.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Comments (if enabled): the comment and its metadata are kept until you ask us to delete them. We keep them so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
  • Website analytics: 14 months, confirm in the analytics settings.
  • Staff accounts: while the person works with us. Administrators can see, edit or delete the personal information in their profile at any time, except the username.
  • Technical and security logs: for a short period, as set by our hosting and security providers.

We may keep some information longer when the law requires it or when it is needed for security, accounting or to resolve a dispute.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and send you a copy in an exported file, including any data you have given us
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete the personal information we hold about you. This does not include data we must keep for administrative, legal or security purposes
  • Stop sending you newsletters or messages (use the unsubscribe link or tell us)
  • Withdraw your consent to non-essential cookies, using the cookie settings link in the footer

To make a request, call (813) 447-6356 or email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. Depending on the state where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them where they apply.

Children’s privacy

This website is meant for parents, guardians and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Information about children that parents share in tour requests (for example, age or grade) is used only to answer the request.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access controls, strong passwords and two-step verification for administrators, security monitoring and regular backups. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information through the website.

Our site may link to other websites, such as Facebook, Google or the Florida Department of Children and Families. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in a clear way on the website.
